This is a rare type of blood cancer, a disease of B cells or lymphocytes, a type of white blood cell. This type of leukemia is more common in middle men than women. and can happen 2% of all leukemias

cause
The exact cause is not yet known. No chemotherapy or radiation was found to be associated with the disease. DNA mutation cause cancer cells to grow more and is not contagious and not transmitted through genetics

symptom
Abnormal cells enter the spleen and bone marrow, causing symptoms. such as bulging and abdominal discomfort due to enlargement of the spleen

Less red blood cells, tiredness, shortness of breath, low white blood cell count, the higher the risk of infection. Low platelets make it easier to bleed. may experience abnormal weight loss together

diagnosis
Based on history taking, physical examination, and blood test, the initial definitive diagnosis is the detection of specific cells of hairy white blood in the blood.

treatment
As hairy cell leukemia develops slowly, immediate treatment may not be necessary for a lower blood cell count. Symptoms causing enlargement of the spleen Chemotherapy was treated with cladribine (2-CDA) and 2 deoxycoformycin (DCF, pentostatin). There may be side effects, such as a temporary decrease in blood counts, numbness of fingertips, hands and toes, if chemo fails. Interferon or rituximab are used for further treatment.
